Crambo is one of the fun guessing games, rhyming and travel games for kids.
Begin with a player thinking of a word and a word that rhymes with his word.
He says, "I'm thinking of a word that rhymes with _______ (his word)."
Or, if her word is "house", she'll say, "I'm thinking of a word that rhymes with mouse".
The other players try and guess his word by asking questions. The first player has to answer the questions with those rhyming words.
The next player can ask, "Does it occur after a lot of rain when it's cloudy?" The player responds, "No, it's not fog."
Play continues in this manner with each player asking questions until the word is guessed.
A player can say, "Is it man's best friend?" and the first player answers, "Yes, it's a dog."
If every player asks a question and noone has guessed the word, the player with the secret word wins that round.
He may choose to think of another secret word, or he may pass his turn on to the player to his right.
If the word is guessed, the player who guessed that word wins and gets to choose a secret word and play continues.
If a question is asked and the player with the secret word cannot answer with the correct rhyming word, the person who asked the question wins and gets to choose a word.
