Three Legged Race

Three Legged Race is one of the fun kids outdoor party games. It takes teamwork and coordination to win this relay race!



4 or more players
Ages 6 and up
Need: sticks for making lines, scarf

This game should be played on the grass.

Begin by making starting and finish lines on the grass about 40 feet apart. Sticks work fine.

Players pair up with a partner, standing side by side, arms around each other's shoulders. A scarf is tied loosely around one of each player's legs that are touching.

The teams stand behind the starting line and after hearing, "Ready, set, GO!" they begin making their way to the finish line. Falling is to be expected and expect lots of laughs along the way.

At the finish line, the teams turn around and race back to cross the starting line. The first team back is the winner.
