Kids love puzzles. Adults love puzzles.

There's something about these brain teasers that spell fun, critical thinking, concentration and good times with family and friends.

And, when you make your own puzzle, no matter how simple or elaborate, it seems to double the fun factor!

3 or more players
Ages: 8 and up
Need cardboard and scissors

The cardboard can be in the shape of a square, circle or rectangle.

Each player cuts his cardboard into 4 to 6 smaller pieces, and then mixes them up.

The adult leader shouts "go!" and the players give their pieces to the player on their left.

The players want to put these puzzle pieces together as quickly as possible.

When a player assembles his puzzle he shouts "done!" and the other players stop their puzzle building.

If his puzzle is correct he gets 10 points. If it's not correct, the other players start building their puzzles again.

Once a player has a puzzle put together correctly and scores 10 points, the players mix the pieces up and pass them to the player to their left.

Once each player has tried to put together everyone else's puzzles, the game is over.

The winner is the player with the most points.

For older kids, you can have them cut their cardboard into 6 or 8 pieces.
