I Spy game

3 or more players
Ages 3 and up

This is one of the very good educational kids games to help preschoolers learn letters and colors.

Begin with one player picking an object that all the players can see. The player calls out, "I spy with my little eye, something that is . . ." The player fills in the name of a color.

For example, if a banana is in full view of all the players, he would say, "I spy with my little eye something that is yellow."

Each player takes a turn at guessing what the object is. The player with the correct guess wins that round and picks the next object.

One of the fun alphabet games can be played similar to the above game, except an object is chosen and called out with a specific letter.

For example, if a bird is in sight of all players, the leader calls out "I spy with my little eye something that begins with a "b".

If mountains are in the background, then the player would use the letter "m".

This is a fun family game that makes car trips go a little faster and keeps kids from getting bored!

There will usually be objects from the start of the trip until you reach your destination so there should always be something for the kids to spy!
