Hop On One Foot
Hop On One Foot is a fun kids game and one of the agility games kids can play. It's also one of the fun games for kids parties.
4 or more players
Ages 6 and up
Need: chalk or sticks for making lines
This is one of the cool kids outdoor games. Begin by making starting and finish lines about 20 or 25 feet apart.
Teams should be made. If there are 6 players, you can make 2 teams of 3 or 3 teams of 2 players.
Players line up at the starting line, single file, behind their team players.
The leader shouts, "Ready, set, GO!" and the first player on each team begins hopping on one foot to the finish line.
If a player's other foot touches the ground at any time, she has to return to the starting line and begin again.
When a player reaches the finish line, he changes feet and hops on the other foot back to the starting line where he tags the next player.
The next player then hops to the finish line, hopping back to the starting line on the opposite foot, tagging the next player.
Play continues until a team has all players crossing the starting line and wins.
You can play this game by starting with a finish line of 15 feet. Once the kids get used to hopping that far, move it to 20 feet and then 25 feet.
This game takes good muscular leg strength.
