Going to Boston

Going to Boston is one of the fun addition games for kids and fun indoor games.

This cool game doesn't care what three numbers are on your dice when they are rolled.

It wants your highest number from each of your rolls. Add them up and hope you have the highest score to be the overall winner!

3 or more players
Ages: 6 and up
Need dice, pencil, paper

To determine who goes first, each player rolls one die. The player with the highest number begins.

If 2 players or more roll the same number, they keep rolling until one player has the highest number.

3 dice are needed for the game.

The first player rolls all the dice. The die with the highest number is moved aside.

If 2 or all 3 dice have the same number, still only 1 is put to the side.

She rolls again, then sets aside the die with the highest number.

She rolls a third time and then adds up all 3 dice for her total.

Play continues with each player rolling 3 times and setting aside the die with the highest number each time.

After all players have rolled, the winner of the round is the player with the highest score.

If there is a tie, the players each throw another round of 3 rolls.

After a preset number of rounds has been played, the overall winner is the player with the most points.

You can also set a time limit up to 30 minutes. Once the time has elapsed the winner is the player with the high score.
