Frisbee Golf

Frisbee Golf is a fun frisbee game and one of the cool outside games for kids.

This game has become so popular that a lot of parks and state parks have golf nets set up to play this game.

You fly the frisbee and want to get it into the net that is set up.

2 or more players
Ages 8 and up
Need: frisbee, paper and pencils for scorekeeping

A park or very large yard work well for this game.

You'll need targets to aim the frisbee at.

Targets can include fences, trees, water fountains, swings, sliding boards, etc.

9 targets are needed for the 9 rounds of golf.

The targets should be about 60 - 80 feet apart. Mark the playing area before the game begins.

If a target is a bush for example, you must decide beforehand whether the frisbee should touch the bush or sail over it.

Decide where to stand before each target. The first player throws the frisbee at the first target.

If he doesn't hit it his first throw, he stands where the frisbee landed and tries again.

He continues throwing the frisbee until it reaches the target.

He has to write down the number of throws it took to reach the target.

The next player then goes and play continues through all 9 holes.

After all 9 holes are completed, the player with the lowest score wins.

You can also play 18 holes.

Once you reach the 9th hole, you start with that hole and work your way backwards down to the 1st hole.
