Bowling Game

The bowling game is one of the fun indoor party games, group games for kids and carnival games for kids.

4 - 8 players
Ages: 8 and up
Need quarter, nickels, buttons or poker chips, tape, pencil, paper

Divide the kids into 2 teams with the same number of players.

Place the quarter in the middle of the table. This is the target. Give each player 4 poker chips (different colors for each player) or 4 nickels or buttons.

Players must know which objects are theirs!! If 2 players have coins, one can be heads and the other tails.

The team who's going first begins by having one player put his coin, button or poker chip on the edge of the table.

About half his object needs to be off the table.

He then uses his hand to push his object towards the target. All players then follow and do what the first player did.

The player closest to the target on each team goes first.

Players want to hit the target with their objects, or get as close to the target as they can.

Each player gets one play at a time.

Players also want to knock other players' objects out of the way of the target or try to move their other objects on the table closer to the target.

Play continues in this manner with teams taking turns playing.

Any object that falls off the table or gets within 2 inches from the edge of the table is out of the game.

If an object knocks the target more than 6 inches from the center of the table, the target is placed back in the center of the table and the object that moved it is out of the game.

After each team has played all its objects, points are added up.

The object that is furthest away from the target gets one point, the next furthest 2 points, the next 3 points, etc.

If one team's object knocks the target more than 6 inches from the middle of the table, the opposite team gets 2 points.

The winning team of the bowling game is the one with the most points after a set number of rounds has been played.
